I first began falling in love with photography in high school. I found there was a certain magic to watching images come alive on paper in the darkroom. This curiosity and passion led me to complete a degree in Photographic Fine Arts in Toronto.

Almost 20 years ago, I left the bustling city and moved across the country. I fell in love with the beauty of Vancouver Island. I feel so grateful every day; sharing my life with a loving husband, a very spoiled pup, and especially to call Victoria my home.

Soon after moving to Victoria I embraced a new era of digital photography, began specializing my art in newborn photography and then officially opened my business in 2007.

After several years of traveling to photograph at client’s homes we set out to build a custom designed artist photography studio. This bright, inviting space has inspired and allowed me to grow creatively with work. You can often find me in the studio the night before a session, laying out props and visualizing settings for the next morning’s photography session. My passion for textures, all things pretty, and my love for newborns makes newborn photography the perfect job for me.

While working with my clients to design their perfect session, my heart is full knowing that I have provided them with beautiful artwork they will enjoy on their walls everyday and gorgeous keepsake albums they will cherish forever.

It is such a joy working with new clients, and my many repeat clients, watching their families grow through the years. I feel blessed to be part of this joyous, magical time in a parent’s life. I believe all babies are precious gifts and you can take comfort in knowing that your little one will be handled with extra safety through my dedicated care and attention to detail.
