From the first flutter of pregnancy to the quiet, tender days of early motherhood, every moment is filled with love and emotion. This precious season passes so quickly. Those tiny lashed and toes, chubby baby rolls and sweet yawns and stretches can feel like a blur. I am here to capture every precious detail and turn these memories into keepsakes that your family will treasure forever.

With more that 18 years of experience specializing in maternity, newborn, baby and family photography, I create delicate timeless portraits that capture the beauty of pregnancy and your family's earliest days with safety, care and artistry. Based in Victoria, BC, my custom designed studio serves families in Greater Victoria and across Vancouver Island.

I will help guide you from our first conversation, to the time when you receive your portraits, heirloom albums and custom artwork. Each newborn session that is photographed in my calm, light filled studio is carefully guided and thoughtfully paced. This allows you to relax and enjoy your experience knowing your baby is safely cared for.

Custom Newborn Session

Newborn sessions take place in my calm and light filled studio and are

carefully paced to ensure your baby’s comfort and safety. Newborn photography

sessions typically last 3 to 4 hours, which allows time for feeding, soothing and

capturing a variety of poses. Each session is individually styled to reflect your baby’s

personality and your preferences of colours and props. Parents and siblings are always

welcomed to be a part of the photography session.

All wrapped up sessions

A shorter studio session focused entirely on your baby. Your little one will remain comfortably wrapped throughout, allowing us to capture 3-4 poses while keeping your baby cozy and settled

I photograph a limited amount of newborn sessions each month. It is best to book your newborn session during pregnancy to ensure space around your due date

Maternity Sessions

Maternity sessions are best at 32-36 weeks and usually take place at a chosen outdoor location, where natural light and surroundings help capture the beauty and anticipation of this special time. Studio sessions are also available for a more intimate feel. Many families book maternity sessions alongside their newborn session, creating a heartfelt story of these early moments with their little ones.

Frequently Asked Questions

When should i book my newborn session?

I offer a full boutique service to my clients and take a limited amount of sessions each month. I recommend booking your newborn session during your second or third trimester. Booking in advance guarantees a session time within that precious newborn time frame.

If you have left booking a little bit later- reach out I always try to fit in a last minute session when I can.

What is the best age for newborn sessions?

Newborns sessions are best within the first 2-3 weeks. I like to aim for 8-14 days. If your baby is already past this age I would still love to hear from you. I do take babies over 3 weeks old if my schedule allows.

when is the best time to book my maternity session?

Maternity session are best booked to take place during your 32-36 of pregnancy.

are siblings and parents included?

Yes sibling and parents images are some of the most cherished. Both parents and siblings are welcome and encouraged to take part in both maternity and my custom newborn session. Siblings can be added for and extra charge to the all wrapped up newborn session

When will I see the images from my session and place my order?

about 2-3 weeks after your session you will be invited back to the studio for a relaxed viewing and ordering appointment. I'll guide you through your gallery, helping you select your favorite images and choose from a range of prints, wall art, albums and digital collections allowing you to create a collection that beautifully preserves these precious memories
